Reviewer verdict

Across 4 YouTube reviews, the AOC Agon Pro AG344UXM earns an Index score of 4.4/5, ranking #10 among Gaming Monitors. Reviewers most often praise its image quality, features, connectivity, while the most common criticisms concern refresh rate & response time, gaming features.

The AOC Agon Pro AG344UXM stands out as one of the first ultrawide gaming monitors to feature a Mini LED IPS panel. Its 34-inch, 3440x1440 display delivers an immersive experience with a smooth 170Hz refresh rate. Reviewers frequently praise its stunning visual quality, driven by 1152 local dimming zones, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification for exceptional brightness, and vibrant, accurate colors. Beyond gaming, its versatility is a major strength, offering future-proof connectivity like HDMI 2.1 and a powerful USB-C port with 90W Power Delivery. The inclusion of an integrated KVM switch and a multi-port USB hub makes it an excellent all-in-one solution for users who juggle work and play.

Despite its impressive specs, reviewers caution that the AG344UXM is not suited for highly competitive gaming due to higher display latency compared to esports-focused models. Some users reported significant technical hurdles, including issues getting USB-C to work with certain devices and major complications for streamers using Elgato capture cards, which struggle with the monitor's native ultrawide resolution. One review even recommended against using its Adaptive-Sync feature, citing potential issues. The monitor is also noted to be quite heavy, and while bright, its Mini LED performance was not considered comparable to the contrast of an OLED panel.

  • the biggest problem is when you um when you stream that you if you use one PC sync so seeing a PC stream setup no problem you just need to rescale the picture and all the stuff to 1700 something XX normally the new OBS does it for you but when you do a dual stream setup like I do with an Elgato um I have the 2K so the 4K to the 4K 60 MK2 so the latest one you could buy and I also have the the um cam link Pro with the four inputs I tested everything the problem with Elgato is as long as you use a standard edit mode from Elgato so a resolution scaling or a resolution set by Elgato which is basically the monitor you add to your system to your game PC which is the monitor you clone this display onto you will have some huge problems because agato not natively or in general has a setting which is accepting this resolution as it is exactly 3440 by 1400 for the pixel there's no way I got to accept it you can try to do a custom edit mode and if you do so you will run into another problem um it will only accept lower Hertz as Elgato is only accepting 140 or 144hz on the standard vehicle HD format and only 240Hz on full HD everything above is like 60 hertz ▶ AOC Agon Pro 34'' | Mini LED | WQHD Montior - The only one o @ 8:34
