Connectivity and Stability

Reviewer verdict

Across 22 YouTube reviews, the EarFun Air Pro 3 earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #25 among True Wireless Earbuds. Reviewers most often praise its sound quality, connectivity and stability, controls and features, while the most common criticisms concern sound quality, noise cancellation.

The Air Pro 3 is widely praised for its sound, with many reviewers (52 mentions) highlighting powerful, bass-forward tuning, clear mids and bright highs delivered by the large 11mm wool composite drivers and support for codecs like aptX Adaptive and LC3. Reviewers also commonly note excellent wireless connectivity and future-proofing (38 mentions) thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, Qualcomm QCC3071, low latency and multipoint/LE Audio support. The buds receive consistent compliments for feature-rich controls and a customizable app experience (37 mentions) including EQ presets and touch customization, plus long battery life and quick-charge support (33 mentions) often cited as standout value. Comfort, decent ANC, solid water resistance (IPX5), and an attractive price-to-features ratio are additional recurring positives across reviews.

Criticisms cluster around tuning and out-of-the-box sound (31 mentions), with many reviewers calling the default V-shaped / bass-forward signature boomy, sometimes muddy or harsh in the treble and needing EQ adjustments. Noise cancellation and transparency have mixed feedback (25 mentions): while some find ANC effective, others say transparency and ANC intensity control are weaker than premium rivals and can introduce hiss or odd artifacts. Touch controls and missing in-ear detection are frequent annoyances (24 mentions), and a smaller number of reviewers note occasional build, connectivity, call quality and case design shortcomings. These issues are mentioned repeatedly but are less numerous than the praised strengths.
