Across 32 YouTube reviews, the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 earns an Index score of 4/5, ranking #21 among Gaming Keyboards. Reviewers most often praise its build quality, key switches, layout and size, while the most common criticisms concern features, software/customization.

The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 is repeatedly praised for its very solid, premium build and heavy all-aluminum body, a point mentioned by many reviewers (47 pros entries). Reviewers also frequently highlight strong features like hot‑swappability, detachable USB‑C, per‑key RGB lighting and included extra keycaps and tools (35 pros entries), plus durable double‑shot PBT keycaps noted by numerous reviewers (34 pros entries). Build and sound issues around stabilizers, rattly spacebar and cleaning gaps were raised frequently, along with remarks about higher profile without a wrist rest and some thin or mismatched keycap extras (21–10 cons entries across those aspects).
