The Artiste Stand Mixer is widely praised across these reviews for being a well-equipped, versatile countertop mixer, with reviewers frequently noting its many attachments and included accessories (mentioned in 28 pros) and a roomy stainless steel bowl with useful guards and scrapers. Reviewers also commonly highlight ease of use (24 pros), citing simple assembly, a user-friendly lid for adding ingredients, and generally straightforward attachment swapping. Criticisms concentrate on accessory and usage limitations (17 cons), including lack of included specialty attachments, restrictions on what should be milled or ground in the grain meal (oily or high-moisture items), and concerns about flour freshness and storage after milling. Cleaning and maintenance are a recurring drawback (9 cons), with multiple reviewers calling the parts fiddly to wash, hand-wash–only components, and grooves that make cleaning harder. Size and noise receive several complaints (5 and 4 cons respectively), with some finding the mixer bulky or loud, and a few users reported mixing performance issues like overproofing with the lid on or imperfect scraping that requires stopping to scrape down. A small number of reviews also raise durability/fit issues with plastic center pieces and occasional lugging under heavy load.

  • I don't tend to need with the cover on. And the reason for that is that dough tends to overproof. um more easily when the top is on and when it's covered. Um while it's kneading, the temperature of the dough will increase from the friction. And with the top on, it holds in the heat. So sometimes your your bread can easily overproof that way. ▶ Is the NutriMill Artiste Mixer Worth It? My Honest Review @ 3:05
