Reviewer verdict

Across 20 YouTube reviews, the XGIMI Elfin Flip Plus earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #38 among Projectors. Reviewers most often praise its features, image quality, portability, while the most common criticisms concern features, ease of use.

Reviewers consistently praise the Elfin Flip Plus for its smart, easy setup and feature-rich software: auto keystone correction, autofocus, obstacle avoidance and an intuitive Android/Google TV-like OS were highlighted across many reviews (Features mentioned 79 times). The projector's native 1080p DLP image, good color handling and sharp text in dim rooms earn frequent compliments (Image Quality cited 35 times). Its compact, lightweight foldable design and true portability are often noted (Portability 26 mentions), and reviewers also singled out convenient controls, simple setup and certified app support and system update capability as strong positives (Ease of Use and Connectivity commonly mentioned).

Common criticisms center on content and brightness limitations: many reviewers pointed out the lack of native Netflix support and limited or workaround-dependent streaming app behavior (Features and Cons repeatedly cited), and the 1080p resolution plus moderate lumen output were noted as insufficient for very large or bright-room projection (Image Quality and Brightness issues frequently mentioned). Reviewers also flagged practical portability limits because there is no internal battery and connectivity is modest with only one HDMI and limited ports (Portability and Connectivity concerns appeared multiple times). Some found the onboard speakers and occasional image artifacts or keystone fine-tuning to be underwhelming compared with higher-end models (Sound Quality and Image Quality criticisms reported).
