Reviewer verdict

Across 18 YouTube reviews, the Samsung Galaxy A35 earns an Index score of 3.7/5, ranking #67 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its camera, design and build, display, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

The Galaxy A35 earns consistent praise for its camera system, with many reviewers (60 mentions) highlighting the 50MP main sensor, good color reproduction, strong HDR and low-light performance, and the unusual ability to record 4K on both front and back. Reviewers also frequently compliment the phone's design and build (49 mentions), noting a slim, lightweight feel, Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection, glass back, and IP67 water resistance that give it a premium vibe. The 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display and 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate are another common positive (39 mentions), praised for vivid colors, high brightness, and smooth motion. Software support and longevity (25 mentions) and solid battery life from the 5,000 mAh cell with respectable endurance and 25W charging (23 mentions) round out the areas reviewers agree the A35 does well.

Criticisms concentrate on the camera beyond the main sensor (35 mentions), with reviewers calling the ultrawide and 5MP macro merely average, noting slow lens switching, limited zoom (no telephoto), occasional processing artifacts and instability in some video/low-light cases. Design and materials draw repeated complaints (24 mentions) about chunky bezels and plastic frames despite a glass back, plus some reports of poor haptics and a glossy finish that attracts fingerprints. Performance and thermal behavior (21 mentions) are also cited, with the Exynos chipset described as middling for gaming, prone to warming and occasional stutters under heavy load. Reviewers likewise mention pragmatic downsides such as lack of wireless charging, only 25W wired charging and no charger in-box, and some software feature omissions compared with Samsung flagships (several mentions across categories).
