Reviewer verdict
Across 7 YouTube reviews, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro (2024) earns an Index score of 3.9/5, ranking #33 among Laptops. Reviewers most often praise its performance, design & build quality, display, while the most common criticisms concern performance, keyboard & trackpad.
The Galaxy Book4 Pro is repeatedly praised for strong performance and responsiveness across daily tasks and heavier workloads, with reviewers (23 mentions) highlighting new Intel Core Ultra processors, improved GPU performance, and smooth multitasking even in a thin chassis. Reviewers also consistently applaud the design and build (23 mentions), calling it slim, well‑built, and elegant with good cameras, speakers, and a responsive fingerprint power button. The display is another standout (21 mentions): multiple reviewers praised the high‑resolution AMOLED/OLED touchscreen with 120Hz variable refresh, vivid colors, and reduced reflections. Reviewers additionally note useful Samsung software/ecosystem features and solid connectivity and portability, which many found to complement the machine’s power and mobile form factor.
Criticisms center on thermal and performance tradeoffs (9 mentions) — reviewers report heat, fan noise and some throttling under sustained loads, and note the discrete laptop GPU isn’t equivalent to a desktop part. Several reviewers (8 mentions) found the keyboard and trackpad less premium than competitors, citing shallow keys and a traditional (non‑haptic) trackpad feel. Build and audio received some knocks (7 mentions) for creaking or mixed materials, fingerprinting and less bass compared to top rivals, and multiple reviewers questioned value at high price points or versus alternatives (6 mentions). Smaller issues raised include shorter battery life under heavy use, limited storage expandability, port placement and risks associated with OLED (burn‑in/PWM).
