Reviewer verdict

Across 22 YouTube reviews, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ earns an Index score of 4/5, ranking #34 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its design and build, display, camera, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

The Galaxy S24+ is widely praised for its premium design and build, with around 50 mentions highlighting a lightweight, comfortable, matte finish, flat Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68 water resistance, and refined aluminum edges. Its 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display receives strong agreement (about 43 mentions) for higher QHD+ resolution, adaptive 1–120 Hz LTPO refresh, very high peak brightness, thin bezels and excellent outdoor readability. Reviewers also consistently applaud the camera system (around 41 mentions) for reliable flagship image and video quality, natural color tuning, strong stabilization and useful 3x optical zoom, and they note One UI 6.1/Android 14 software and Galaxy AI features plus Samsung’s seven-year update promise as notable strengths (about 35 mentions). Battery life and charging are repeatedly mentioned (about 29 mentions) as a plus too, thanks to the larger ~4,900 mAh capacity and support for faster 45W wired charging on the Plus model.

Criticisms cluster around the camera limitations (about 28 mentions), where reviewers note weaker long-range zoom, some focus/white-balance quirks, and a clear quality gap versus the S24 Ultra or more advanced telephoto setups. Design drawbacks (about 24 mentions) include sharp-feeling flat edges, lack of titanium or Gorilla Glass Armor, susceptibility to micro-scratches, and the phone’s large size for one-handed use. Software and AI features draw mixed responses (about 21 mentions) as some reviewers call parts gimmicky, undercooked, or potentially limited by regional update issues, while performance/thermal concerns (about 20 mentions) focus on slight warming, occasional throttling, and chipset regional differences affecting performance. Battery and charging criticisms are less frequent but present (about 9 mentions), mainly noting that charging speeds aren’t as fast as some competitors and that Always-On Display and certain chip variants can affect real-world endurance.
