Reviewer verdict

Across 29 YouTube reviews, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #92 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its camera, software, design and build, while the most common criticisms concern software, camera.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is widely praised for its powerful performance, with many reviewers citing the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and fast, fluid day-to-day use across apps and gaming (reported across many reviews). Reviewers also consistently highlight the new One UI 7 software and Galaxy AI features — Gemini integration, generative editing, improved transcription and translation tools, and useful cross-app AI utilities — as meaningful quality-of-life upgrades mentioned frequently. The camera system and imaging improvements (main sensor detail, a new 50MP ultrawide, better low-light and video options like log and audio eraser) are another common strong point across numerous reviews. Design, display, and battery longevity also get regular positive mentions: reviewers note a thinner, lighter titanium build with slimmer bezels, an excellent anti-reflective QHD AMOLED display, and solid all-day battery life with 45W wired charging support.

Common criticisms center on software trade-offs and unfinished or limited features: many reviewers complain the S Pen lost Bluetooth remote functions and that some AI features feel incomplete, confusing, or potentially behind a future paywall. Value concerns are widespread — reviewers frequently call the S25 Ultra expensive for what many describe as incremental upgrades over prior Ultra models, questioning the justification for a high price. Camera and battery critiques appear too: several reviewers say certain zooms and video outputs still fall short of the very best, and others note charging speeds and battery architecture haven’t meaningfully improved. Design nitpicks and omissions (no Qi2 magnets, no IP69, some find the styling bland) are raised by a number of reviewers as well.
