The GT 5 Pro is repeatedly praised for its display, camera, performance and battery, with reviewers often highlighting those strengths across the 11 reviews (display mentioned 46 times, camera 40 times, performance 33 times, battery 26 times). The display is described as very bright, sharp, high-refresh (multiple mentions of 144 Hz / LTPO / AMOLED / very high nits) and among the best flagship panels reviewers tested. Cameras receive consistent positive notes for primary and telephoto sensors, good daylight and low-light images, stable 4K/8K video and useful telephoto performance. Performance is noted as flagship-level with Snapdragon 8 series chips and smooth gaming/multitasking, while battery and fast wired/wireless charging are repeatedly cited as strong points and long-lasting in daily use.
Criticisms center on design and build, camera inconsistencies, and thermal/performance stability (design/build issues cited 23 times, camera problems 16 times, performance concerns 11 times). Reviewers call out the phone’s weight, thickness and large camera module or awkward logo and say the design can feel heavy or uninspired. Camera drawbacks include a weak ultra-wide, inconsistent HDR/skin tones, portrait edge detection and some unstable 8K stabilization. A minority of reviewers also flagged thermal throttling and lowered stability under stress or prolonged gaming, and a few noted software polish and region/feature limitations.
