Reviewer verdict

Across 20 YouTube reviews, the XGIMI Horizon Pro earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #39 among Projectors. Reviewers most often praise its features, setup, image quality, while the most common criticisms concern features, image quality.

The Horizon Pro is widely praised for combining a feature-rich smart TV experience with strong brightness and gaming-friendly features; reviewers frequently note its native 4K (pixel-shift) image, up to 2200 ANSI lumens brightness, built-in Google/Android TV, and very low input lag modes for gaming. Many reviewers (mentioned across most reviews) highlighted the premium compact design, reliable autofocus/auto-keystone/setup tools, long-life LED light source, and Harman Kardon stereo speakers as standout strengths. Users also repeatedly praised the wide set of connectivity options, fast boot and intuitive Android interface, and the projector’s strong suitability for movies, casual streaming, and large-screen gaming. Overall, praise is consistent across a majority of the 20 reviews for image quality, smart features, ease of setup, and integrated audio for everyday use.

Criticisms are concentrated around streaming app support and gaming limits: many reviewers reported the built-in Netflix app is missing or nonfunctional and required workarounds, and several noted input lag around 34–35 ms still makes the projector less suitable for competitive FPS gaming. Other recurring complaints include limitations from pixel-shifting (native DMD 1080p) affecting very close/near-text sharpness, keystone/digital zoom artifacts or elongated light edges at extreme angles, and only modest calibration controls. A minority of reviewers also mentioned brightness/contrast tradeoffs in strong daylight, firmware/app glitches (occasional freezes), and portability drawbacks like a bulky external power brick or lack of a carry handle.
