Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap with Battery

Reviewer verdict

Across 21 YouTube reviews, the Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap with Battery earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #1 among VR Headsets & Accessories. Reviewers most often praise its comfort & fit, controller functionality, build quality & durability, while the most common criticisms concern comfort & fit, controller functionality.

Reviewers overwhelmingly agree this strap is a major upgrade in comfort over the stock Quest 3 band. Its enhanced padding and superior ergonomics effectively distribute weight, relieving facial pressure and allowing for much longer, pain-free play sessions. The integrated battery is a key highlight, consistently doubling the headset's runtime by providing an additional two to three hours of power, and it can actively charge the headset during use. Users also appreciate the easy installation process and the simple rear dial for adjusting the fit, which ensures the headset remains stable and secure even during active games, making it a worthwhile and highly praised accessory.

The most significant drawback is a widespread, critical electronic failure where the headset stops recognizing the integrated battery, making its primary feature useless. This is a known issue acknowledged by Meta, leading to frustrating experiences and difficult customer support interactions for those affected. Additionally, the official strap is considered expensive compared to third-party options. Some users also report minor issues such as the battery draining even when the headset is off, the added weight causing some facial pressure, and a faint humming noise coming from the battery pack during operation.
