Across 20 YouTube reviews, the Corsair MP600 Mini earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #62 among SSDs. Reviewers most often praise its performance, form factor, features, while the most common criticisms concern performance, compatibility.

The MP600 Mini is widely praised for its strong performance, with many reviewers (33 mentions) highlighting high read/write speeds, excellent real-world benchmarks, and responsive load times across capacities. Its tiny M.2 2230 form factor and single-sided design earn frequent positive notes (15 mentions) for fitting compact devices like laptops and handhelds while offering good cooling potential. Reviewers also appreciate bundled features and extras (12 mentions) such as Corsair’s heatsink, visible/usable design elements, hardware encryption, and convenient external/USB-C options. Price and capacity are noted positively by a number of reviewers (9 and 8 mentions respectively), who call it competitively priced for 1TB and praise availability of up to 2TB in the small form factor.

Critics most often complain about degraded sustained write performance and large drops over time (26 mentions), reporting write slowdowns of up to around 40% and characterization of the drive as much slower versus original results. Compatibility and installation limitations (10 mentions) are another recurring issue, including restrictive cooling requirements, slot placement problems, formatting quirks with some devices, and potential lane-sharing slowdowns. A smaller group call out price concerns and limited value compared with cheaper alternatives or perceived premium pricing (5 mentions), and a few reviewers note form-factor annoyances, restricted capacity options, lack of DRAM, and potential warmth under sustained load.
