Reviewer verdict

Across 23 YouTube reviews, the Honor Pad X9 earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #28 among Tablets. Reviewers most often praise its display, performance, operating system, while the most common criticisms concern display, performance.

The Pad X9 is widely praised for its large, high-refresh-rate 11.5–12.1 inch LCD display with 120 Hz adaptive smoothing, good color accuracy and immersive viewing angles, a point noted by many reviewers (59 mentions). Reviewers frequently highlight solid everyday performance and smooth multitasking driven by midrange Snapdragon chips (39 mentions), plus generally strong battery life from an 8,300–7,250 mAh class battery with 35 W fast charging reported by multiple reviewers (27 mentions). The tablet’s metal unibody build, light slim feel and surprisingly good multi‑speaker audio are other recurring positives (Build Quality 26 mentions, Audio 18 mentions), and several reviewers called its feature set and bundled accessories a strong value for the price (Value for Money 18 mentions).

Criticisms center on the LCD’s limited outdoor brightness and less punchy blacks compared with OLEDs, with many reviewers pointing out 400–450 nits peak brightness and poor direct-sun visibility (Display 24 mentions). Performance is seen as midrange rather than high‑end—reviewers repeatedly note the Snapdragon 685/6 Gen 1 class chips are fine for casual gaming and everyday use but not for sustained high‑FPS or demanding titles (Performance 20 mentions). Reviewers also call out practical drawbacks around the keyboard accessory and portability features (separate charging, single stand angle, non‑magnetic cover) and limited cameras and connectivity options (no cellular, no headphone jack, modest cameras) that reduce versatility for some buyers (Portability 16 mentions; Camera 15 mentions; Connectivity 11 mentions).
