Reviewer verdict

Across 12 YouTube reviews, the Roborock Qrevo Edge earns an Index score of 4/5, ranking #54 among Robot Vacuums. Reviewers most often praise its cleaning performance, maintenance, navigation, while the most common criticisms concern other, navigation.

The Roborock Qrevo Edge stands out by incorporating premium features into a mid-range device. Reviewers consistently praise its exceptionally high suction power (18,500 Pa) and innovative cleaning technologies, particularly the Flexi Arm system, which extends a side brush and mop to thoroughly clean edges and corners. Its Duo Divide anti-tangle brush system is highly effective at managing pet and human hair without wrapping. The all-in-one dock further enhances convenience by automatically emptying the dustbin, washing the mop pads with hot water, drying them with warm air, and refilling the robot's water tank. Combined with its adaptive lift chassis for clearing thresholds and a feature-rich app, it offers an excellent value and a nearly hands-free cleaning experience.

Despite its advanced features, the Qrevo Edge's primary weakness is its inconsistent object avoidance. The system often struggles to detect and navigate around smaller items like cables and low-profile objects, especially on carpet, diminishing its autonomous capability and requiring users to pre-clean the area. Another common complaint is the lack of an automatic cleaning solution dispenser in the dock, which means users must manually mix solution into the clean water tank. For some, the performance improvement over less expensive models may not justify the higher cost, particularly as the robot can still push smaller items around.
