Reviewer verdict

Across 24 YouTube reviews, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II earns an Index score of 3.6/5. Reviewers most often praise its controls and features, noise cancellation, sound quality, while the most common criticisms concern controls and features, noise cancellation.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II earn high praise for their industry-leading active noise cancellation, which effectively silences everything from low rumbles to human voices. Reviewers consistently highlight the exceptional comfort and secure fit, achieved through a customizable system of ear tips and stability bands, making them suitable for long listening sessions and even workouts. The sound quality is considered impressive, with a punchy, clear signature that can be tailored via an in-app EQ. Additional strengths include a natural-sounding transparency mode, reliable multi-point Bluetooth connectivity, responsive touch controls with volume swipe, and solid battery life with a wireless charging case, rounding out a premium and feature-rich package.

The primary drawbacks center on a few key areas. Many reviewers criticize the charging case for being bulky and feeling cheap, lacking the premium finish expected at this price point. The microphone performance for phone calls is frequently described as merely average, struggling to isolate the user's voice from background noise, particularly outdoors. Some users also report occasional connectivity hiccups with the app and earbuds, and note the presence of wind noise when using transparency or noise-cancelling modes. While the core performance is strong, these shortcomings in design and call quality feel like compromises for a high-end product.
