Reviewer verdict

Across 21 YouTube reviews, the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #52 among Gaming Monitors. Reviewers most often praise its image quality, features, size & resolution, while the most common criticisms concern image quality, design & build quality.

The ROG Swift PG32UCDM is repeatedly praised for its class-leading QD OLED image quality, with reviewers across many videos (76 pro mentions) highlighting deep inky blacks, vivid accurate colors (99% DCI-P3, wide gamut and native 10-bit gradation), and very high HDR peak highlights (multiple mentions of 1,000+ nit peaks on small windows). Reviewers also frequently note strong out-of-the-box calibration, excellent text clarity at 4K/32" (many comments on sharpness and pixel density), and smooth gaming performance with very low input lag and fast pixel response. Additionally, its rich feature set and burn-in mitigation tools (OSD features, Neo proximity sensor, KVM, USB-C with power delivery) are commonly cited as valuable extras (49 feature mentions and 22 connectivity mentions).

Criticisms cluster around limited full-screen brightness and HDR/ABL behavior, with many reviewers (41 con mentions) reporting lower overall brightness, inconsistent HDR brightness across scenes, and some ABL/restrictive brightness modes that affect large highlights and fullscreen levels. Design and finish drew repeated complaints (26 mentions) about the glossy/semi-gloss surface causing reflections, fingerprinting, and a bulky stand/power brick, while price and burn‑in risk are recurring value concerns (17 mentions) despite warranty/mitigation features. A smaller but notable set of reviewers flagged feature limitations or implementation issues—Dolby Vision auto‑switching, USB‑C/Refresh rate caps, VRR/flicker in certain scenarios, and the need for very powerful GPUs to exploit 4K@240Hz performance.

Analysis based on 21 YouTube reviews (3h 59m of video) with 435 pros and 180 cons extracted.

if you're going to have a wireless receiver you really probably should use that on a simple USB extension because the front of the monitor seems to block RF signals a little bit and having the little receiver thing up here and behind a piece of metal and your mouse over here not great in terms of signal Integrity ▶ The 32" 4k ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP Monitor Review @ 12:50

in terms of USB devices switching if I wanted to daisy chain something like my system 76 keyboard that's actually a 10 GB keyboard that's not a good idea this monitor seems pretty unforgiving of daisy chaining a USB hub so the USB hub in my system 76 keyboard to use for peripherals or local storage or anything else doesn't seem to work all that well it doesn't it's not that it doesn't work at all it's that it does work works at 5 gbit but it doesn't work super amazingly well with all the other kinds of peripherals ▶ The 32" 4k ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP Monitor Review @ 11:56

Asus could have put display port 2.1 on this to be able to run at 480 HZ basically across the board for 4K 1080p doesn't matter but as it is you can make a button so that you hit between 1080P in game boost mode and 4K at 240 HZ ▶ The 32" 4k ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP Monitor Review @ 9:50
Asus doesn't really do a lot of USB device testing or put workarounds in their uh hubs to deal with quirks and everything else and so when you're doing switching this is basically a glorified USB switching chipset and so it'll probably work for standard-ish peripherals but if you have have slightly squirly peripherals the KVM switching functionality as it is built into the monitor is somewhat lackluster compared to what I do in dedicated Hardware but what I do in dedicated Hardware is vastly more expensive ▶ The 32" 4k ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP Monitor Review @ 4:39
