Reviewer verdict

Across 26 YouTube reviews, the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDP earns an Index score of 3.9/5, ranking #45 among Gaming Monitors. Reviewers most often praise its image quality, features, design & build quality, while the most common criticisms concern design & build quality, image quality.

The ROG Swift PG32UCDP is widely praised for its exceptional image quality, with reviewers frequently highlighting deep OLED blacks, vibrant and accurate colors, high peak HDR brightness, and strong viewing angles (Image Quality was the most-mentioned pro). Many reviewers also celebrate gaming-oriented capabilities—4K at 240 Hz, a 1080p/480 Hz dual mode option, low pixel response times and adaptive sync support—making it a top pick for smooth, responsive gaming (Gaming Features and Refresh Rate & Response Time appear often). Reviewers note a rich feature set and practical connectivity, including USB-C with power delivery, KVM and multiple HDMI/DisplayPort inputs, plus a robust set of customization and AI-assisted picture modes (Features and Connectivity are recurring positives). The monitor’s build, stand design, and fanless thermal solution are also commonly called out as solid and premium, contributing to its overall strong reception (Design & Build Quality and Ergonomics mentions).

Criticisms focus on OLED-specific drawbacks and practical design tradeoffs: reviewers frequently mention burn-in/image retention risk and non-ideal full-screen HDR brightness/ABL behavior, along with reflections and elevated black levels in bright rooms (Image Quality and related issues are the most-cited cons). The glossy/anti-reflective finish and some bulky/thicker physical elements draw repeated complaints, plus the power brick/cable routing and larger stand footprint are noted as inconvenient (Design & Build Quality). Price and perceived value are common concerns, with many reviewers calling the unit expensive and warning that OLED lifespan and burn-in risks complicate the value proposition (Value for Money). Reviewers also flag a few functional limits and trade-offs—limited pivot/rotation, some OSD quirks, disabled features when certain modes (ELMB/dual-mode/USB-C at high power) are used, and the high system requirements to exploit 4K@240Hz (Ergonomics, Features, Gaming Features, and Performance criticisms appear repeatedly).

one other setting that I really love that's RG exclusive is this thing called uniform brightness and this as the name would suggest it does actually make your screen slightly dimmer for my workspace it's been fine but if you're sitting in a really bright room probably don't use this one which though as the name suggests has a uniform brightness to the whole screen so if you have like a white window like a Windows Explorer thing and then you make it full screen or you're sort of constantly making things bigger and then small it means you don't get those drastic shifts in brightness ▶ The Best Gaming Monitor Ever Made! 😍 Asus ROG PG32UCDM Revi @ 12:27
