Reviewer verdict

Across 26 YouTube reviews, the Vivo X100 Pro earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #14 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its camera, performance, display, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

The Vivo X100 Pro is widely praised for its camera system, with reviewers across many videos (132 pro mentions) highlighting the 1-inch class main sensor, versatile 50MP lenses, strong telephoto/periscope zoom (notably 4.3x optical and long-range zoom capabilities), excellent low-light performance, and advanced video options including 8K and 4K60 across rear lenses. Reviewers also repeatedly commend imaging software and processing (Vivo V3/D3 ISP, Zeiss optics/coating, natural color profiles, strong dynamic range and noise reduction) that yield detailed photos, reliable stabilization, and creative portrait/video modes. Performance and gaming are noted positively by multiple reviewers (27 mentions), thanks to the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300-series chipset delivering snappy multitasking and high frame rates. Battery life and charging are another common strength (24 mentions), with a large 5,400 mAh battery and very fast wired and wireless charging speeds praised for all-day use and quick top-ups.

Criticisms focus most on camera limitations and inconsistencies (45 con mentions): selfie/front cameras are limited to 1080p video, ultrawide field of view and focal length draw complaints, aggressive processing/sharpening at times, and extreme zoom levels (e.g., 100x) can be hazy or unstable. Design and build are frequent complaints (36 mentions) as well, with reviewers calling the phone heavy, top‑heavy or slippery and faulting the large camera bump and finish. Software receives multiple critiques (18 mentions) for dated or region‑restricted behavior, preinstalled apps and shorter update promise, and some reviewers also report thermal throttling or throttling under heavy load (14 mentions) and only average battery life in certain tests.
