Reviewer verdict

Across 26 YouTube reviews, the VAXEE ZYGEN NP-01S Wireless earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #25 among Gaming Mice. Reviewers most often praise its comfort & ergonomics, button customization & functionality, build quality & durability, while the most common criticisms concern build quality & durability, comfort & ergonomics.

The ZYGEN NP-01S Wireless is widely praised for its comfortable, unique ambi-ergo shape and excellent weight distribution, with comfort and ergonomics mentioned by the largest share of reviewers (63 mentions) as making it easy to grip, secure, and comfortable across several grip styles. Reviewers also frequently compliment the button feel and customization: main and side clicks, scroll wheel feel, and onboard setting options were repeatedly described as crisp, spammable, and well-implemented (55 mentions). Many reviewers highlight solid build quality and durable construction — stiff rigid shell, good skates, and a well-implemented cable or wireless receiver — as a strong positive (43 mentions). Sensor performance and responsiveness are also noted positively (36 mentions), with multiple reviewers calling the tracking smooth, accurate, and snappy in real use.

Criticisms clustered around ergonomics for some users (34 mentions), with complaints that the shape or grooves can require an enforced claw grip, feel awkward for palm or fingertip users, and can be slippery for sweaty or dry hands depending on coating. Build details drew criticism (27 mentions) — reviewers reported creaking or side flex, a stiff/thick cable, noisy scroll wheel, and stock skates some found subpar. Size and weight polarized opinions (24 mentions): several reviewers found the S model too small or noticeably heavy compared with modern ultralights. Button nuances and post-travel or inconsistent feel on some clicks/side buttons were also reported (23 mentions).
